Temporary rental in a lovely furnished 84 sqm apartment, renovated by an interior architect. Nice high ceiling, great original floors and stone stairs. Located in a 2nd floor without lift.
Location:
You are at the centre of Bordeaux, in the bounds of the Triangle d’Or, between the squares Gambetta and Tourny, and really close to the Auditorium. An excellent location in a characteristic building in stone, in the same street where François Mauriac lived.
Buses are 100 meters away, and the tramway at 200 meters (5 minutes from the apartment) allowing you to visit this wonderful city.
A little bit of History:
Straight and twenty two feet long, rue Rolland was opened in 1793 by the frères of the Cadillac Charity and the pères des Carmes déchaussés of Bordeaux, actually the propietors of big terrains there. One of the main speculators is Nicolas Pérès du Vivier who, apart his own, ordered to build a dizaine of houses in both sides of the street, starting at the cours de Tourny. Named rue Rolland through an ordonnance of 1785: May it refer to the Knight of Rolland, jurat in 1783, that lived at that moment at the place Dauphine (Gambetta)?

Appartement très agréable et bien situé.
Cet appartement est atypique de part la disposition de ses pièces car on a l'impression de toujours tourner en rond.
mais il y a tout pour un séjour parfait. nous y étions avec nos deux filles et l'appartement est très agréable.
