A little history :

Widened and aligned, the entire street was named in 1842 after Jean Huguerie, the bailiff to Parliament, who had four shops built there in 1716.

There is a fine line of Louis XVI-style houses on the odd-numbered side, running almost the entire length of the even-numbered side, from Rue Lafaurie to the Clinique Tourny. They were designed by the architect Lhôte, who himself lived at no. 37.

Behind the Louis XVI façade facing rue Huguerie, rue du Palais Gallien, a giant chestnut tree protrudes from the roof.
