A little history :

This old road starting from the Badetz cross or croix Blanche led to Caudéran and then to Saint Médard. It is therefore known as the Route de Saint Médard or the Chemin du Haillan.

In the 18th century, country estates spread out on either side of the road, in particular the bourdieu belonging to the German commission agent Harmensen. In 1783, the Carthusian monastery and its seven hectares were sold to Swiss merchant Conrad Schald.
