A little bit of History:
"When the Cours de l'Intendance was parcelled out in 1792, a street was opened successively named Borie, town councillor, rue des Jardins and then rue Puy Paulin in 1866. In order to link the Cours de l'Intendance directly to rue Porte Dijeaux, part of the small rue de l'Intendance was incorporated into it. In 1927, it was called rue Combes, and in 1990 rue Louis Combes"

The apartment is in a wonderful location. It is clean, bright, spacious and quiet. It has a lovely modern kitchen and bathroom. The owners have thoughtfully provided many extras that you would normally find in a hotel. There are lots of restaurants in the area and the shopping is wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone who is capable of climbing stairs and would certainly stay there again. We loved Bordeaux too. It is beautiful and vibrant and not overrun by tourists.
